DESIGN CONSULTATION
The Initial Design Consultation is the first step in turning your interior design dreams into reality. During this meeting, Azucena will meet with you to understand your vision, preferences, and goals for your space. Together you will discuss your functional needs, style, colour preferences, and any specific ideas you may have in mind.
This consultation is the foundation for your entire design project. Azu will answer any questions you may have. FULL SERVICE RESIDENTIAL DESIGN
This residential design service is tailored to transform your house into your dream home. Whether you're looking to revamp a single room or overhaul your entire home, we will work closely together to create a personalized interior that reflects your functional needs, style, and preferences. With a proven process from concept to implementing the design in construction, every detail will be carefully selected and reviewed to ensure your home is a beautiful and a refined reflection of you.
THE PHASES
The Vision
The Vision is an evaluation process over the phone where the key parts of your vision for the project are outlined. We discuss the scope of work, how the space is used, your preferred style, the timeline and your budget. A design consultation on site is then completed to finalize The Vision. With the information gathered at these meetings, I am able to personalize concepts to achieve ideal results tailored to your needs.
2. Cíelo Concept
The Cíelo Concept refines the vision into a unique design concept with preliminary floor plans, mood boards and colour palettes. These are presented in a new meeting at your home to confirm the floor plan and provide guidance for the subsequent Design Development phase.
3. Design Development
In the design development, detailed drawings of the concept are developed into a full design package including all necessary floor plans such as demo, lighting, finishing and millwork plans. Elevations provided give a comprehensive view of each wall with detailed notes highlighting key architectural features. Following the detailed drawings, specification meetings are conducted for selecting and finalizing all materials and appliances.
4. Documentation
The documentation of the design development and selection details are reflected in the design package for client approval, enabling accurate budgeting by the contractor to proceed with the build.
5. Design Implementation
The implementation of the design for a unique and beautiful build takes experience and attention to detail. Executing an elevated design involves reviewing the space to identify and eliminate mistakes, flaws, and costly change orders. My 8 years of construction experience conducting site visits and working in older buildings has given me a great ability to anticipate field conditions before they become an issue. FURNISHING & STYLING
Whether you are finalizing the vision for your space to achieve a cohesive design after construction or furnishing your space without a renovation, Azucena will help determine the ideal furniture, artwork, and decor that is sure to bring your project to full fruition.
